What on earth are we doing here ? What’s this gate ?
What’s this fencing ?
Why aren’t we running free ?
The first morning in their alotted space - with sun, shade, trees, toys and a paddling pool. Now they can all be together. And I am less worried about escapees.
Only Tiffy is somewhat offended. Not an escapee and likes the whole garden and the right to choose where she is when it suits her. Definitely the quiet and gentle boss, but the boss. Definitely !

And yes, Tintagel Winds Labradors still exists . . . four girls and one boy . . . . and one old human determined not to give up !
All on the ground floor, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 loos, attractive garden full of trees for happy dogs needing freedom, fun, sun and shade, and a barbecue on the terrasse for the humans. Lovely sitting/dining room full of sun and light and with a fire-place for cosy winter evenings, and a large open kitchen, pantry, a dressing room and an independant store room.
A tiny village in wonderful countryside, one hour from Montpellier and the sea, surrounded by olive groves and endless vinyards, North of Nîmes, west of Avignon and five minutes from the famous Pont du Gard built by the Romans.
And yes, Tintagel Winds Labradors still exists . . . four girls and one boy . . . . and one old human determined not to give up !

Finally one day it seems I shall sit and do nothing. Or hear the alarm, turn it off and go back to sleep. Maybe some day I'll have a night's sleep. No intubing at 2 a.m., no progesterone capsules to be given at 4 a.m. spot on . . . .
But how does a maximalist change into a minimalist ? How does someone surrounded by hundreds of dogs over 43 years, producing 302 litters of 1,972 puppies who have gone to live accross 52 countries . . . . suddenly own just one or two pets ?

FA 300 year old stone farmhouse situated on 3 1/2 acres of land, entirely renovated with the dogs in mind. A dormitory, a large airy nursery, and an office. With 2 large play-parks totally fenced in. Covered, protected courtyards (originally for drying tobacco centuries ago) for when the wind howls accross the lake and even Labradors need protection. Situated 20 minutes from Geneva, 10 minutes from the lake and half an hour from the first ski-slopes.
Une vieille ferme toute en pierre de 300 ans, implantée sur 12,000m2 de terrain et entièrement rénovée avec le bien-être des chiens comme priorité. Un dortoir, une grande et claire nurserie et un bureau, avec en plus deux grands parcs d'ébats solidement clôturés. Des courettes couvertes et protégées (à origine pour le séchage du tabac il y a des siècles) pour quand la bise hurle à travers le lac et même des Labradors ont besoin d'un refuge. Situé à 20 minutes de Genève, à 10 minutes du lac et à une demi-heure des premières pistes de ski.
