Le conseil d'administration du LOOF, en date du 1er décembre 2014, a décidé de compléter cette règle en offrant la possibilité d'utiliser toutes les lettres de l'alphabet. Le cycle de 20 ans est cependant gardé à l'identique, mais les lettres jusqu'alors exclues (K, Q, W, X, Y, Z) deviendront des alternatives possibles l'année de la lettre les précédant. Ainsi, le K sera permis comme alternative l'année du J, le Q sera possible en parallèle du P, et le W, le X, le Y et le Z deviendront possibles en parallèle du V. Voici le tableau complet des initiales possibles par année, à partir de 2015 :

A bit of nostagia - going back 43 years to the foundation of Tintagel Winds. Ballyduff Sunflower born in October 1977 and Kupros Lucifer born in November 1977. I waited two years to have them, but in those two years I learned a lot while waiting for the news of available puppies.
With these two I fixed my "blueprint" for morphology, type, character and everything I understood made up the bona fide Labrador such as the standard described it. I have never altered my blueprint to accomodate judges or fashions. I am the sole judge of my dogs and will not take kindly to my errors. I am my most ferocious judge.

Today the sad news came that Pep Up Puppy of Tintagel Winds went to the Rainbow bridge leaving her family heartbroken. Peps was born on February 20th 1999 so was one month off her 16th birthday. She wore the violet collar and was the daughter of Just Orphan Annie of T.W. and Carpenny Catchpole. Run free Peps. Peps' dam is the great grand dam of little Jewel . . . so life goes on thanks to ones we have loved and lost

29/102023: I have just heard from his sad and loving owners that Trick or Treat of T.W. (aka Tatum) has just passed away at 12 years old. How ironic that he chose the Halloween period to say goodbye. What a lovely boy he was. R.I.P. little black fur-ball

"Amie", I have just discovered, finished her life after 16 years, on September 2nd. She retired to Paris ten years ago having been a wonderful mother.
How to be sad when a Labrador has had such a long life, let us rejoice for her and keep our tears for those who leave this world through disease and accidents when they are still in the prime of life.

A farewell to the much loved Ave Caesar of T.W. ❤️ who left for the Rainbow Bridge. Born on March 3rd 2005, he left at fourteen years' old.

Lovely telephone call from Paris this afternoon to remind me that this sweet boy, Abrakadabra of T.W., born on September 3rd 2005, is celebrating his 14th birthday today and that his owner adores him as being "the most wonderful labrador in the world". This is what breeding is all about. The most important factor.

Amazing Grace of T.W., in Italy, celebrated her 14th birthday last week. Not sure whether the edible part of the birthday cake (looks delicious) was meant for her or for her owner. Whatever, looks as though she could sing "happy birthday to me" with no problems. Long life to you, dear girl !❤️

My heart goes out to Victoria, saying "goodbye" today to her much loved and treasured "King", born in January 2006. I sent him to her in the U.S.A hoping that her trust in me would be justified and that this puppy would become what she wanted for her kennel. He did. But the cycle of a dog's life is just too short. Even when he's 13,5 years' old. Farewell lovely King □□

First Love Marmite of T.W., - 9 years

An absolute tragedy. FIRST LOVE MARMITE, born in February 2010, lost his happy and wonderful life yesterday. Brutally.
No, not to cancer or any sickness. Just the sickness of human beings who abandon their detritus in the forest after picnicking.
Marmite, running free, found this rubbish and some large lumps of cheese. Being a Labrador he wolfed them down and some blocked and suffocated him. He choked and died.
I came in from cleaning the kennels at 10 p.m. last night to find this devastating news from his heartbroken family. He had a lovely life, was in perfect health and was adored.

FIRECRACKER OF T.W.❤️ - 9 years ago today. He is one of the reasons why I will never, ever sell a dog to Asia again (and haven't in 9 years). He left for India with so many "loving promises" but as soon as he became a champion he was "sold on" as a stud dog with no information for me as to what country or to whom. A year or so ago a kind friend in Asia found an advertisement for him as a stud dog and copied it to me. It broke my heart. He became just a cash-machine. NOT the reason I create Labradors
