Going Home!!!
Yala's five babies left for their new homes today, all five of them.
.
Looks as though all five enjoyed meeting their new families and the longest trip (a ten hour drive) went well with a clean and happy puppy. All the feedback tonight has been positive, so happy me too !

Yala's babies, after a terrible start, are now doing well and Yala has recovered too. I've stopped the bottle-feeding since day 4.

YALA can't believe her eyes - where did these wriggling things come from ?
Yala still has no milk (despite treatment) and all her babies have lost 10% or over of their birthweight in 36 hours. Just when you think things are getting easier - they're not.

Little trip in the fog to Saint Julien this morning to do X-rays of Yala. For Yala maybe a bit early.
And . . . . . Yala appears to have FOUR, though there might well be another. Thanks to the help of Never Give Up. All black.
