How wonderful to think that these babies are Charlie's with semen collected in June 1997 ! That went off to Oregon.
Sat there for 20 years and then came back to Europe to Germany. And was inseminated into Bubbles on May 11th.

1994 - Multi Dual Show Champion and Field trial Champion Carromer's Charlie Chalk with me and his baby in the gardens of the Château de Fontainebleau.
Charlie never, ever disappointed me on any level. Not once. A perfect gentleman and wonderful companion, an excellent pre-potent sire and efficient stud-dog, an unbeatable showman (96 CACIB at a time when there were 300+ labradors at every International show) and a Field Trial Champion "à l'Anglaise" and also . . . Top Dog All Breeds in France in 1994.
Here's hoping his daughter "No Stopping Me Now" and his son "Never Give Up" will be a credit to him.

One huge step towards their development - Ist egg custard.
And this morning, at 21 days, they hit the ground (after my finding O.P.I. capable of escalating the whelping box to escape, complete with back-pack and a map of the world !)
They are definitely around a week in advance on just about all the things by which one measures puppies' advancement.

Difficult retirement for Bubbles who does NOT appreciate the separation from her babies.
It's always gradual as I do not give toxic products to dry up the milk.
A wonderful mother, gentle, loving, careful, devoted and a true dairy cow - except that her milk is tenfold more nutritious than that of a cow.
Cry, babies, cry, Mummy is leaving tonight.
