Multi Champion and Field Trial Champion Carromer's Charlie Chalk (Charlie)
November 6th 1991- September 20th 2004
Multi-Champion, Dual Champion Carromer's Charlie Chalk (1991 - 2004) My friend, my companion, my pride and joy for 13 years. As brilliant a show dog as a working dog. 7 times in 8 years Charlie won the French champion show ticket, Field Trial Champion (à l'anglaise). 96 CACIB (At a time when there were 300 or more Labradors at International shows and 500 at the annual championship show). His phenotype and his genotype were in perfect harmony. He printed perfection on everything he touched. My luck that I belonged to him.

1994 - Multi Dual Show Champion and Field trial Champion Carromer's Charlie Chalk with me and his baby in the gardens of the Château de Fontainebleau.
Charlie never, ever disappointed me on any level. Not once. A perfect gentleman and wonderful companion, an excellent pre-potent sire and efficient stud-dog, an unbeatable showman (96 CACIB at a time when there were 300+ labradors at every International show) and a Field Trial Champion "à l'Anglaise" and also . . . Top Dog All Breeds in France in 1994.
Here's hoping his daughter "No Stopping Me Now", his son "Never Give Up" and and Over My Dead Body (Tiffany) will be a credit to him.
Charlie lives on!
